Geography: Natural Resources GoogleEarth Project

This assignments teaches students to use GoogleEarth. As they map out their natural resources destinations, they also blog about the natural resources found in that geographic area. This assignment includes step by steps on how to use GoogleEarth as well as a rubric which pertains to the assignment.

Kids enjoyed it - took them about a week to do in class; was a great summative assessment wrapping up their knowledge. Cross-curricular with English, Geography, and History (all three used as assessments on report cards).
