Geografia de America del Norte -North America

This thematic unit starts with a review of the basic concepts town/city, state, country and continents, with some speaking activities and a game. Then it focuses on North America (with an emphasis on Mexico and Central America) and its geography, covering vocabulary like ocean, coast, mountain, lake, river, peninsula, valley, jungle, desert, etc., with simple language and engaging activities. The pictures have been carefully selected for authenticity and are age appropriate. There are also links to a few videos, as well as games. It includes 2 worksheets (fill in the blank paragraph, word-picture match), printable cards, and a Google Earth activity. The pages follow a logical teaching pace, which will lead you through the unit. It is aligned to the new WL standards, at the novice high level.
As all my other units, it includes teacher's notes and suggestions for extra activities. A great resource for a FLES program.
