Genetic Disorder Research Project

This is a great resource to help students learn how mutations in DNA can cause disorders people around the world experience.

In this project, students will choose a genetic disorder to research about and then create a PowerPoint presentation on. They will be expected to find out who discovered their disorder, what causes it, the prevalence of the disorder, symptoms, and treatments. When students are finished, they will present their PowerPoint to the class so that everyone may learn more about different types of genetic disorders.
