Gaeilge - Caitheamh Aimsire Digital Resource

Product Description

This Caitheamh Aimsire digital resource is designed for use on online learning platforms. Versions for Seesaw and Google Slides for Google Classroom are included in this resource. This product includes five mini lessons suitable for use online. These colourful and interactive lessons are designed to teach a wide range of caitheamh aimsire vocabulary. I used these lessons to teach Caitheamh Aimsire to 4th class during online learning in June 2020.

The activities in this resource ask children to:

• Match vocabulary to different pictures.
• Drag and drop emojis to match sentences.
• Use the pen tool to circle and match items.
• Read sentences aloud.
• Learn new phrases.
• Write sentences based on the lesson.

The lessons are designed to be simple at the start and increase in complexity over time. Five lessons included – Only €1 per lesson! These resources are designed to extend the children's learning but are paced slowly to ensure that children learning at home are able to enjoy and complete the lessons.

The lessons are aimed at 4th - 5th class. They could be used as revision with 6th or perhaps with a very capable 3rd class. See the preview for more details to decide if the lessons would suit your individual class. Use the lessons each day for a week or over a two-week period. I used them over two weeks.

• Five Irish lessons on the theme of Caitheamh Aimsire.
• Clickable links to access the resources on Seesaw
• Copy and paste instructions for teachers to use on Seesaw when creating the activities.
• Access to Google slides for each lesson with one click. Make a copy and share with your class on Google Classroom

Each lesson includes:

• Vocabulary introduction/ revision.
• Reading caitheamh aimsire sentences aloud
• 1 – 4 moveable activities
• A simple writing task. (Writing sentences/paragraph)
