GLAZE TESTS JOURNAL

Each sheet is laid out as a journal page that makes it easy to complete by ticking boxes, adding your own variations and making your own notes. As a potter and ceramic artist, I have tested hundreds of glazes. Way back in the 1990's when I was studying Fine Arts (Ceramics) I spent many hours in the glaze lab testing glaze after glaze after glaze. Keeping handwritten notes was messy and after only a few handwritten attempts, I created a spreadsheet to record all my glaze test results. Whilst this suited my efforts at that time, I have since developed this into a more user-friendly version, with a multitude of variations that you, as the artist and potter, can utilise to record your own findings as thoroughly and as comprehensively as possible.
