Description

With its setting in the American Revolution, students get a first hand battle experience in the novel George Washington's Socks. For this Novel Study, here are

- comprehension questions for every chapter,

- topic specific student log/journal, which leads to an essay

- name word search and spelling ladders for vocabulary words,

- glossary and two vocabulary worksheets (synonyms/antonyms and words in context).

Lots of teacher directions and suggestions.

A detailed essay assignment using their log is included that leads students through notes, organizing for sub-topics, and creating a five paragraph essay. Student handouts included. This aligns with most 6 + 1 traits.

Answers are not included. No test.
