Description
I use this engaging, easy to follow PowerPoint to help my students gain a deeper understanding of SCALE. I used it with my 3rd-5th grade GATE students, but it would be a great introduction for middle school classes as well!
This works great with my "Blueprint for a Dream Room GATE Scale Activity", where students choose a scale to use while drawing a blueprint of their own dream room. Search for it in my store!
This PowerPoint guides students to find connections, solve word problems, discover the big idea, and write a short response to answer the following questions: What is scale, and why is scale used in blueprints?
Also included
- tips for implementation
- PLENTY of intriguing pictures
- a sample paragraph structure
- check for understanding prompts to be recorded on a sticky note
Please follow my store and check out my other listings!
Enjoy!
