G4 Module 2: Spelling Words Letter for Parents (Bookworms Supplement)

Bookworms Curriculum: Grade 4: Module 2- Week 9 - 16 Spelling Words. These spelling words correlate with all of Module 2 for Fourth Grade Shared Reading.

This resource was created to help parents be more involved with their child's learning of spelling words. It has been difficult to communicate when the students have a spelling test/ vocabulary test considering the Bookworms Curriculum has a Word Study assessment every five days. With this resource, students can identify spelling patterns, syllables, and suffixes. There are teacher tips for studying weekly spelling patterns. This item has information about specific syllable types and gives information about Super Sentences. This document can be edited through Google Docs.

Simply print this resource and send it home weekly with the students to study. You could also post it digitally through the Remind app or on a Facebook post.
