Included are a range of activities, ranging from C.S.I. forensic activities where students must solve clues to figure out who done it, to science experiments, paleontology pretend digs, paper plane science and more. CSI Forensic Science. Who done it? Print & Google Classroom | Distance Learning.
Students have to use their detective skills and examine 5 clues to figure out which one of eight suspects stole the jewels from the town hall.
Each clue also has a bit of scientific information for the students to read to further enhance the students learning.
Five clues are given to the students and each clue (worksheet) allows them to eliminate 1-2 suspects.
Clue 1/ Hidden Binary Code Message
Clue 2/ Fingerprint Analysis
Clue 3/ The getaway car, calculating acceleration (basic division)
Clue 4/ Virus, Bacteria, or Fungi?
Clue 5/ DNA sequencing.

Paleontology - Fossil Formation and Pretend Dig Activity
This paleontology lesson includes a power point on fossil formation and then leads your students in a pretend dig where they have to try and figure out what the animal is from the fossil bones found.
This enjoyable activity will engage your students and get them thinking like a real paleontologist.
This lesson includes a powerpoint slide and some handouts for your students to fill out. In the first part of the lesson your students are learning about fossils and in the second part your students work in small groups to and carry out the work of a paleontologist as they try to uncover what the mystery animal is.
CSI Science Genetics Activity: DNA Punnett Squares Meiosis Cells. Genetics Intro
The world is in grave danger, and only you can help. You have just overheard an evil master’s plan to take over the world. Unless he is stopped the master will release a virus tomorrow night which will infect the people of the world; turning them into mindless puppets which he can control.
Your students will have to solve a series of 5 clues (worksheets) to find out the identity of the evil master and where the virus is located.

Design an Island City: Rising Waters -A Social Studies & Climate Change Activity
Climate change, human needs and the concept of sustainability are discussed as your students design a new island for the inhabitants of a small island nation called Chill-Ville, whose current island is sinking due to rising sea levels.
An enjoyable activity that gets your students thinking - great for middle school. Can last 1-3 lessons depending on teacher preference.
