Description

How do you teach primary and secondary colors to preschoolers?

Give your child red, yellow, and blue watercolor paint and a brush. Show them how to use the brush to get paint and mix these primary colors to get secondary colors. Let your child play with colors and learn what happens when we mix a certain amount of two primary colors.

How can I use the sheet?

There are many different ways that you could use this sheet, here are some examples:

- Print it out and laminate it

- Assist your child in identifying the primary colors and then engaging in a painting activity with your child to allow the child to test the outcome of the different color combinations

- As the printable copy is yours to keep and print as many times as you want, you can print multiple copies at any time for different uses

(I recommend printing the cards on cardstock and laminating them for durability).
