Description

This is a fun lesson to engage your kids in making inferences and drawing conclusions. I love to show my kids how what they learn in class relates to the world around them. I start off teaching inferring with lessons about how they already infer all the time with videos, movies, people, etc. Then, we break down how we use background knowledge and evidence to create a strong inference.

This activity can be used as a longer whole group activity, stretched out as an engaging mini lesson over a few days, or used as a reading station or center. It could be used for 1-5 days.
