Full Year Proofreading Grammar Bell Ringers & Daily Exercises w/ Editing Marks

Proofreading paragraphs are the perfect bite-sized assignment to brush up on spelling, punctuation, and general usage rules. These grammar edits are perfect for starting class, daily grammar practice, or homework assignments.

Each paragraph is about a different topic related to a specific month depending on the resource and has 10 errors that need fixing. Each page has a common editing mark key for easy student use. Answer key is included as is a slideshow to correct it together as a class.

In my classroom, I use these as warmups twice a week to keep students fresh on their editing. I witness incredible student growth very quickly with these. I give students 5 minutes to spot and correct as many errors as they can, and then we do it together on the board using the slides I’ve included.
