Fry Sight Word Center

In order for students to become fluent readers, they must master sight words. By practicing spelling, reading, and writing sight words with this center game, they will be able to recognize the words easier, thus reading more fluently.

Students will shuffle and then pick a card. Using the first sound of each picture, the student will write the letter that matches underneath each picture with a dry erase marker. Students can use the included Alphabet Chart if they need help. Once the student figures out the mystery word, he will write the word on the corresponding word on the recording sheet matching the number on each card.
