What educators are saying

This was a great resource to help the students visualize the internal organization of the frog before the dissection.
My students loved this!! We did this assignment before dissecting the shark to help the students better understand what they were seeing when dissecting

Description

This activity is a perfect alternative to dissection or as an elaboration or evaluation. I have taught Biology for 36 years, and have done many real dissections of many different animals, but have changed my mind on whether students need a real frog to dissect in high school. Recently, I have given this activity to my students instead of doing a real dissection, and they have fun, stay safe and don't hurt any animals! Students who were absent during a real dissection could do this activity to make it up. It is a re-make of my first Frog Paper dissection with more questions and some editing on the procedural steps. Hope you and your students enjoy it! Happy cutting!
