What educators are saying

My students love learning about lifecycles! This is such a cute activity to use with my lessons. The students were engaged and loved the craft.
What a brilliant resource. It is so engaging for children learning about the lifecycle of a frog and also makes for a wonderful display. I have used this resource with many class levels. I would highly recommend. I can't wait to buy more resources from this seller! thanks a ton!

Description

The "Life Cycle Of A Frog" on a paper plate is a quick, easy and super-fun "print and go" craft.

Teacher Comments:

  • "A great, versatile activity! I like how there are several options for the life cycle stages.
  • "Super fun project."
  • "My students loved this frog activity."

I've included a simple 4-section cycle for little ones, where you count the big frog as the start, as well as a 6-piece cycle for older students.

There are full color patterns, so you can easily make an example to share to help explain things, as well as black & white templates so children can color their own.

Run the frog pattern off on light green construction paper, and have students add pizzazz to details with crayons, then glue the frog to the back of the plate.

After coloring the life cycle, they cut it out and glue it to the front of the plate.

To add a bit more pizzazz, I found plates with a green floral pattern, but regular white ones look great too.

There are templates that are labeled, as well as blank ones so students can practice the science vocabulary by writing it in.

Punch a hole at the top; tie a yarn loop and suspend from the ceiling.

They look absolutely adorable swirling and twirling in our hallway; which is a real self-stem builder, as lots of people pop in to compliment & comment on the display.

Another Teacher Comment:

  • "This is perfect for my preschoolers. I am partial to paper plate crafts. This is adorable. Simple for comprehension for my wee-schoolers (approaching three years) to the older preschoolers."

I'm Diane from Teach With Me, hoping your students enjoy making a paper plate life cycle as much as mine do.
