This drawing art lesson will teach students about Frida Kahlo and her autobiographical self-portraits. This is a perfect lesson for Hispanic Heritage Month, Women's History Month or any time of the year. Students will learn how to create a self-portrait with accurate proportions. This is a great upper elementary or middle school art lesson to teach the importance of heritage, and how to draw a portrait with the correct proportions and facial features.
