This resource provides a collection of activities designed to help students develop the skills to read and understand text messages in French and then to write their own text messages in the target language. Not only do the activities vary in difficulty, but there are alternate versions of several of the activities allowing for differentiated and adaptive instruction. This product allows students to connect to the francophone world in a very real and culturally-authentic way. Many curricular programs require students to be able to converse in texting format as one of their writing-based outcomes.
