Description
Struggling to get students speaking in French during French class? These games are perfect for getting students to practice asking and answering questions in complete sentences AND using verbs in context, in a way that's fun and engaging, helping them build their French conversation skills!
Use this game regularly in class to help build student confidence speaking in French. Being able to ask and answer questions in French is the basis of a conversation, so students are practicing their French conversation skills in a very structured way that will hopefully give them the confidence and practice to speak more spontaneously with time. This is a great way to practice their French speaking to interact and listening to interact skills. We have personally used these games with French Immersion students from Grade 2 to Grade 8 and Core French Grades 4 to 8! It helps if at least one partner is able to read the questions to help if their partner’s reading skills are lower. Students play in groups of two and roll to ask and answer questions and gain points.
