French Question du Jour Digital Oral Prompts | Full Year Bundle

Need some ideas for your morning routine in French? These Digital French Oral and Writing Prompts will help get your students talking in French and build a greater classroom community! Perfect for a Prof du jour / Question du Jour French morning routine!

These questions can be done orally or you may wish to project the question digitally and have students write their thoughts in a journal before sharing with the whole group!

Each set contains at least 20 questions for each month, with some sets containing even more so that you can use it across two months! Blanks are included as well, to add your own ideas. Don't be afraid to repeat questions, as when you revisit a question, you can see if students remember the proper sentence structure and vocabulary required to answer!

I've also included a generic set of questions to use when you have run out of thematic questions or when you want to review the basics of answering a question with a full sentence. The generic set contains visual prompts and the sentence starter, making it a great starting point for primary & early core French. The other sets do NOT come with sentence starters & visuals, however, you can always model how to answer the question beforehand.

The questions are not simple yes or no questions, so they allow students to practice opinion sharing in French and give more details about themselves!

These prompts can work great as a "Question du jour" or "Petit Prof" routine! You can pick a new student every day to read out the question to the class. My students LOVE having this responsibility to be our Petit Prof or Prof du Jour for the day. The student then gets to choose friends to answer the questions and overall, it's a great time spent speaking in French together and practicing oral communication!
