The French passé composé can take weeks to teach in your French 1 and French 2 classes. Here is a bundle of resources to help engage your students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening critically in the passé composé!

• House of Être TPRS Story: introduce être verbs with this silly, memorable story complete with visual of the "Maison d'Être", note-taking guide, and list of Être verbs.
• House of Être Visual: For extra practice with être verbs. Use after introducing the "Maison d'Être".
• 16 passé composé exit tickets: brief writing activities students can complete in the last 5-10 minutes of the class.
• French Passé Composé Sentence Strips: Subject pronouns, helping verbs, ER, IR, RE, Irregular Verbs, and Être Verbs! Students practice rearranging parts of sentences to make complete sentences in the passé composé. Includes sample activities with teacher tips.
