French Mother's Day Activity - Activité pour la fête des mères (ARTIVITÉ)

This file includes a fun and interactive French flip book for Mother's Day. The flip book includes a total of 5 pages and is very easy to cut and assemble. No glue required!

Here is the order of the flip book pages:

1) Ma mère s'appelle (students can colour this front page)

2) Ma mère et moi (students have to write their favourite activity to do with their mom and draw a picture)

3) M-A-M-A-N (students will write an acrostic poem with the word "maman")

4) Je t'aime (Students will complete the following three sentences: Je t'aime beaucoup parce que..., Je t'apprécie parce que..., Je te remercie pour...)

5) Students will follow a series of prompts to write a letter to their mom

Included in the file is a template for "Father's Day", just in case you have students who do not have a mother or live with their father.

The end result is definitely worth it! It binds nicely and easily together. It is just a matter of stapling the pages together. Parents can easily hang it somewhere or display it on their fridge.

This is most appropriate for students in Grades 2-4 French Immersion, but can be used up to Grade 6 in French Core and French Extended programs.
