Description

Get your FSL students moving with this interactive French Earth Day Cherche et Trouve! Perfect for Le Jour de la Terre or Earth Week! Students can search for the 20 objects independently and at their own pace or you can assign this as a whole class activity. You can even insert a timer to make this activity more competitive! Encourage students to present their found objects using a complete sentence to make this an oral communication activity! This product can be used virtually with Microsoft TEAMS™ or Google Classroom™. You can also use this resource as an in-person activity with the printable task cards and student checklist!

Ideas For In-Person Learning:

  • Hide objects around the classroom and have students search for them independently or in a small group - don't forget to display the slideshow in class!
  • Print task cards and student checklist, and assign as homework
  • Use as a brain break, during a class meeting or as a reward activity

Ideas For Virtual/Distance Learning:

  • Play during a class meeting with all cameras turned on! Share the slides so students know which objects to look for!
  • Assign as independent work allowing students to work at their own pace - students can snap and send pictures of their found objects
  • Have students create their own cherche et trouve prompts using the customizable slide included!

Included:

  • 20 Earth Day objects to find
  • Cherche et Trouve rules for distance learning (for in-person learning, just add the student checklist)
