Are you looking for a French research project to explore French communities in Canada? This French project satisfies the intercultural awareness component of the Ontario French as a Second Language curriculum for grades 4, 5 and 6.
This resource includes:
-a 2 page research project, customized for each grade.
-a list of possible communities to research for each grade level is also included.
-assessment rubric
-teacher tracking sheet
Students will utilize their developing research skills to locate the information required for their chosen city.
The learning goals for each grade project are as follows:
Grade 4:
Students will communicate information about French-speaking communities in Ontario.
Grade 5:
Students will communicate information about French-speaking communities in Quebec.
Grade 6:
Students will communicate information about French-speaking communities in eastern, western and northern Canada.
