French Bell Ringers BUNDLE | French Writing Prompts (150 total)

One of my favourite ways to begin French Immersion classes in high school, is journal writing or using Bell Ringers. Students come in to class and the bell ringer is already displayed on the board.

They begin to respond to the reflection question in French without worrying about grammar or vocabulary. Free writing is extremely important for our FRIMM students to learn to express themselves and to play with grammar and vocabulary without the pressure of marks and grades!

This resource contains :

150 bell ringers or reflection questions for personal and creative journal writing. Some of the reflection questions also include watching short YouTube videos on important matters. The videos are already embedded in the slideshow.

Who is this resource suitable for?

The resource is most suitable for FRIMM Secondary students. Many of the prompts are critical thinking prompts and require a higher level of thinking. These prompts may also work for grades 6-7 in Immersion. It may also work for advanced FSL students with a high level of proficiency.

Resource format options

Google Slides™

This is a Google Slides presentation. The prompts themselves are image files that are NOT editable. You will, however, be able to add the date to each slide.

Microsoft PowerPoint

You will also be able to download your Google Slides as a PowerPoint presentation. Please see instructions in the document for exact details.

PNG files

I have also included PNG (image) files. This means that you can insert the reflection question you like into ANY Google Slides or PowerPoint presentation of your choice.

If you use Microsoft Teams, this means that you can also assign individual questions in the “assignment” tab in the General channel by attaching an image file. Alternatively, you can also upload them individually into OneNote.

How to get TPT credits towards future purchases :
