Looking for a cute and fun French craft idea to do with your students during the first week of school? This adorable Crayon Box Me Voici craft is perfect and easy for primary students to complete within a period or two!
I created this craft for students who are just beginning their journey in French in mind, as my students will be learning French for the first time even though they're entering grade 2! The prompts are differentiated, allowing both students who are just beginning or have learned French for a couple of years, to enjoy completing this activity for back to school! It's also a great activity to have students do while you're trying to get organized with all the paperwork and craziness that comes with the back-to-school season!
This French Back to School Craft would look amazing displayed on any wall space or bulletin board. They would also make for a great take-home craft. I've included fun header posters that you can use to display with the craft, allowing you to even decorate a door with these!
Your students will have so much fun putting the craft together and filling out the French crayon box writing prompts. There are a variety of prompts included so that you can choose (or have the students choose) whichever prompt makes the most sense for your class!
I've also included modified versions that require NO WRITING at all, in case you require that for a given student (or if you need something easy to leave with a substitute). You can have your students write short sentences or draw pictures. This craft is very versatile!

- Crayons/Coloured Pencils/Paint/Glitter/Markers to decorate the craft
