Having lived for many years in Florida, with its 1,300 miles of shoreline, sea turtle conservation is a cause that hits close to home for me. I'm really hoping some amazing teacher author out there will take this set and use it to create an engaging marine turtle conservation or endangered animal resource.
This clip art set features the critically endangered Hawksbill. It includes sea turtle dangers such as plastic bags (often mistaken for jellyfish), and plastic six pack rings (entanglement hazard). Also included are some conservation measures such as a nest sign/marker, and sea turtle friendly red LED light (the light doesn't disorient hatchlings and draw them away from the ocean).
I've recently added on 4 loggerhead illustrations to this set.
The set includes 15 PNG color illustrations, and 16 PNG blackline versions. These are high resolution (300 dpi) transparent background graphics. No watermarks will appear on the files that you download.
The clip art illustrations measure approximately 6 inches to preserve image quality when re-sizing. Included are the following:
