Free Reading Yelp Sheet (reading log)

The experts agree, students gain the greatest benefits from Free Reading when they're reading for reading's sake, without any assignments or assessments attached.

This Yelp Sheet gives them a bit of accountability without requiring them to do much work- they just record what they've read and give it a star rating.

I use the star ratings to update my ratings posters in my classroom every semester, to pique students' interests in other books and to help them choose their next book.
