Description
This is a 12-lesson unit for gifted 3rd-6th graders, designed to last one semester. It teaches the history of forensic science in a very hands-on and engaging way. Students track a criminal through history, but he keeps slipping away! The ancient forensic science techniques just aren't enough for keep up with this criminal. But when he reaches modern day and students can use modern day techniques, the criminal better watch out!
The crimes occur in Medieval Times, the Wild West, and Modern Day New York City. This unit has been VERY well received by my students, their parents, fellow teachers, and administration. Enjoy!
