After reading the poem Bleezer's Ice Cream choose from 5 different fun activities for students to practice recognizing and creating alliteration patterns.
-Students can read the poem individually, in pairs, or groups, or project for shared reading
-highlight, or identify where the author has used alliteration
-sort some of the crazy flavors based on whether or not the author used alliteration to describe them
-create your own crazy cone flavors, templates for 3 and 5 scoops provided
-create an alliteration alphabet book with your class where each student chooses a letter to create 3 wacky or delicious flavors and then organize in alphabetical order for your class library
-create a cone craftivity--students create flavor names with no limit to the number of scoops
All copies are simple black and white with no need for color copies--simply print on white or colored paper, depending on your preference for the activity.
