Description

Looking to scaffold the structural elements of a personal narrative? This print and digital resource compatible with Easel helps scaffold the elements of a story: Exposition, Inciting Incident, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Resolution.

Prior to students writing on an open-ended prompt, they will brainstorm and map out the story events on the given templates.

  • Pre-writing Planner - students will brainstorm key events of interest on the given prompt. They will then choose one event to narrate.

  • Elements of a Plot template - students will map their ideas of the key event chosen
