This task-based project allows students to explore the culinary, cultural, and natural wonders of individual Francophone countries through Google Earth™ and Youtube via Google Slides™, but is compatible with all digital platforms, such as Canvas, Schoology, and Microsoft Teams.
Each virtual field trip includes short French travel guides, short authentic videos and articles, and an explanation of the cultural perspective behind many modern tourist attractions, plus some local gems - all in a proficiency focused and completely comprehensible resource.
The field trip ends with a budget-based travel itinerary, where students have to plan 3 trips: 1 for friends on a budget, one for family, and 1 with no budget.
