Fractions - Complete Unit of Work

In this unit, students will learn about using and manipulating fractions. They will begin by using diagrams to represent and compare fractions, before calculating equivalent fractions and using common denominators to compare and order fractions. Students will then convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions, and will finish the unit by learning methods for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.
