Fraction Christmas Tree

This is a great holiday way to show your students how they can work with fractions. The editable templates provided are all you need for the final product.

Print the dot sheet. For one class, you simply need to print a dot (ornament) sheet on red, blue, and yellow paper. Roughly cut the cirlcles and put the in a bag. The students will grab a SMALL handful of dots.

They can decorate the tree with the ornaments however they like. Then they can fill out the fractional sentence stems to go with their very own trees! These double as great decoration while sticking to the third grade standards!
