Fraction Action Play

The Fraction Action play by Miss Jean’s Class is a funny little play great for choral reading and building reading fluency and knowledge about fractions. It also is great for teaching about bullying and friendship! It is typically used as a reader’s theatre script but has also been used as a performance piece. When used as a dramatic production, students enjoy making a set and simple costumes consisting of hats with their fraction label on or creating the fraction numbers out of paper and wearing them. This play is sure to bring a laugh to both reader’s and the audience. Enjoy!
