Four Short Scenes about Truth & Reconciliation

These are short scenes, no longer than 4-7 minutes, that aim to simplify the concepts of residential schools and Truth and Reconciliation for young students while emphasizing empathy, understanding, and friendship as essential tools for healing and building a better future.

They require minimal set, props & costume as all take place in a school setting. All characters are gender neutral and names can be changed as you see fit.

These were created when I was looking for short scenes to include in a student-led Truth and Reconciliation Assembly and could not find anything appropriate to help explain reconciliation to younger students.  I hope they will be of use to you and your students.

Content appropriate for P-6. Reading level intended for Grades 4-6.
