Description

This is a simple project that will make your classroom walls less boring! The project has students make trading cards (how many is up to you) of various Founding Fathers and some Framers.

I assign this project on Day 1 of my unit on the Revolutionary War, and collect it two weeks later.

This lesson is 1 page and simply contains the instructions.

When the trading cards are finally submitted by the students, I love holding up some cards and reading quotes to the class from these brave men. For example, for Nathan Hale, I can read his powerful quote and springboard into a quick story on the courage of the Founders.

On instruction day, I simply hold up baseball cards and walk them through what a quality trading card looks like. Then I pass out this handout and walk them through it. Very easy.
