Found Treasures "Medieval" Clip-Art features a beautiful collection of restored, edited, and reformatted Middle Ages themed public domain images (now!) fit for TPT classroom and product use! Set Information:
This set includes images that range from 1" to 10" in color, grayscale, and B/W. Due the nature of the images, most clip-art pieces are available in only one version. Images are drawn, painted, or photographs. Some images are taken from ancient sources, others from academic. All images are 300 dpi, png.
Themes:
This set showcases a variety of themes including but not limited to knights, jousting, heraldry, coats of arms, King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, daily life, clergy, and religious art! Special Note: Due to the barbaric nature of the time period, some images may contain combat and battle violence.
Background:
While viewing public domain images for references, I found myself in awe of the beauty, precision, and uniqueness of these spectacular images. It seemed to be a shame that many of these timeless images would go unseen when they had so much to offer students and teachers. While there were many fantastic pictures available, most needed a variety of edits and touch-up work to be suited for reuse. I decided it would be worthwhile to restore and share my "Found Treasures" in a format that would be better suited for projects on TPT.
Why choose "Found Treasures"?
Permissions/Usage-Worry free permissions! ALL public domain images were filtered through libraries for "no known copyright restrictions" only. In addition, the bundle includes email transcripts from both sources stating permission to obtain and use commercially! Images were only downloaded from these sources in which commercial usage was guaranteed...and even encouraged!
Excellent Selection-Hours of searching. These beautiful and timeless selections were not chosen at random or without thought. Designer viewpoint consideration was involved in each selection. Found Treasures only includes images that were thought to be good choices for TPT products, covers, and classrooms. Appropriateness, aesthetics, subject matter, visuals, and potential for use were considered on each piece. Save yourself the hours of searching through public domain images and questioning their restrictions and determining the best images. The best images for TPT use were determined selected and saved to this bundle!
Quality! Last but not least, every single one of these images has been modified in some way to make it a better choice for TPT educators and sellers. Images have been edited for contrast, color, cleanliness, boldness, and lighting (for the best visual on TPT products!) In some cases, outlines have been added, or images were changed to B/W, grayscale, or color depending on which best suited the image. Some images were taken from larger pages, cropped neatly, and edited for clip-art as singular pieces. Others have been stylized, resized, recolored, or reformatted. Each timeless image was designed to be an iconic and eye-catching choice for your classroom materials and products.

Individuals may not remove images from the guide or sell/distribute the clip art individually or in bundled packets. Art must be secured in PDF, flat PNG or JPEG form, merged with your product. See Acceptable Use regulations if you absolutely must use unflattened art.***

NO ONE but buyers of the product should have access to the product. Sharing with other teachers (same building or otherwise) or friends (even with good intentions) is violating the terms of use. As a former assistant teacher (now staying home with my baby), my TPT income is crucial to my family's well being. If you know other teachers in your school who want access, consider purchasing multiple licenses. They are discounted!
Please kindly keep in mind that as an artist and stay-at-home mom, my TPT income is incredibly important to my family.
