Fortune Origami Acts of Kindness

These origami fortune tellers we loved as kids take on a positive spin!

In this creative, fun way to inspire acts of kindness, kids will learn small acts of kindness that they can incorporate in their daily lives and share ideas of kindness with their friends and family. These small acts can brighten someone's day and add up to increasing their positivity.

OR choose a blank template to have fun working on vocabulary, or a specific topic of your choosing.

Time: varied based on which template you choose. As a quick activity use the pre filled template or choose the blank templates.

Colorful Lines eliminate the confusion of following obscure directions. Kids will still work on motor skills with cutting, folding crisp lines, and following directions.

Freedom to Choose their Kind acts: Kids enjoy filling in their own acts of kindness. Pick from color or Black and White.

Blank Templates Endless possibilities! Extend any learning activity (interesting animal, person, or subject facts.) Or use it as a fun activity to work on fine motor skills/ following processing order/ directions and fill in the blank template with jokes or use the preprinted kindness acts.

In the Classroom: distribute the desired template and brainstorm ideas of “Acts of Kindness” Write student ideas on the board. Encourage students to think of times they did small acts of kindness or someone did an act of kindness toward them.

Supplies Needed: scissors, glue, ruler (optional), if using black and white version: 4 colors (crayons or markers)
