Fortnite has overtaken my high school classroom! In an effort to motivate my students to put their phones down, I have created this assignment to use in class. I hope it is helpful for you, also!
Please Note: Every few months, Fortnite will come out with a new story line. Some of the pieces of this assignment may relate to a different version of Fortnite than what your students are playing. However, most students, if avid Fortnite fans, will recognize these elements, even if they are no longer part of the game. Regardless of any changes in the game, this learning activity will still challenge your students in a unique way.
Additionally, I have included Google Doc links for the assignments below so that you can assign via your school's online platform if desired.

★ 1 page article about technology usage focused on Fortnite - a quick overview that briefly hits on the pros and cons of video game usage among teens, especially the impact of violent video games that involve killing, like Fortnite. Google Doc Link Included

★ Answer key to quiz mentioned above.
