Description

These Forest Adapted Song Books now include both music and movement! "Animals Live In the Forest" (Adapted Song Book) and "Moving In the Forest" (Movement Book) teach forest animals themed vocabulary words through both music and movement.

The Adapted Song Book, "Animals Live In The Forest," is sung to the familiar tune, "She'll Be Coming Around The Mountain," and teaches forest vocabulary through song.

Sample Verse:

"Rabbits live in the forest, yes they do!
Foxes live in the forest, yes they do!
Wolves live in the forest.
Deer live in the forest.
Skunks live in the forest--
How 'bout you?"

Students match the pictures and sing along as the teacher or therapist sings the song and moves through the pages. After the song is complete, students engage in a sorting activity that focuses on classifying forest animals.

UPDATE! I have just updated this set to include two books! Also included is a "Movement Book," that focuses on gross motor skills or motor planning, following directions and imitation skills. I have also included "Movement Cards," that go along with the book.

I think you are going to LOVE this update! :)

If your students enjoy this activity, they may enjoy other adapted song books in my store. You can find the complete collection here:
