Forensic Science Mock Crime Scene Final Project
Description
This Forensic Science Mock Crime Scene Project is designed to allow students to showcase their understanding of the past year WITHOUT you having to create multiple time-consuming, elaborate, and often expensive mock crime scenes.
This project puts the burden of evidence back onto the student to create a crime scene that includes multiple areas of learning AND AN ANSWER KEY, requires students to utilize their knowledge of crime scenes, evidence collection, and analysis, and has students demonstrate their communication skills (SO important for forensic science-based jobs) using a presentation.
- For in-class students: Require them to provide materials to create a shoe-box crime scene.
- For remote learners: Require them to create slides depicting each area of the rubric that is clearly understood by the viewer.
- I have included an excel sheet with the formula already embedded into the file for easy grading!

4-page student guide
3 separate rubrics (each out of 100 points for easy grading!)
Excel sheet with the averaging formula already embedded. Plug and chug!
It is in a PowerPoint and PDF format so that it can be easily uploaded to Google Classroom (or whatever you use) for digital access!
