What educators are saying

Fun set of logic puzzles...varied in difficulty which was great for my classes. The personalization opportunity was also cool for the kids.

Description

Football! Looking for a way to bring football into your classroom and still involve critical thinking fun? These challenging logic puzzles are made for YOU! This NO prep four pack is an enriching supplement to your critical reading lessons. Set includes four critical thinking activities. One of them is personalized for every single student! Perfect for early finishers, challenge board, after testing, and more! Have a look!

Set includes 4 Logic Puzzles All the Matrix Grid Puzzles come in B& W and Color!

  • Meet You At The Snack Bar is a 10 X 10 Matrix Grid Puzzle. It is the easiest in this set. Your students match up football fans and their favourite snack.

  • Half Time Shenanigans is a 2-tiered 7 X 7 matrix grid puzzle. It is more challenging than the Snack Bar Puzzle. Each student will have the opportunity to write in their favorite team, and make it part of the puzzle. The students will deduce the fan's favorite mascot and their favorite half time activity.

  • QB Sneak is a location logic puzzle. It's about sneaky quarter backs. Students use the clues to discover the color of ten helmets and the first name of the quarterback who wears it. This puzzle comes in two versions, options listed and options not listed. Differentiation has never been so easy. I print the 2 B & W versions back to back and let the students choose their level of difficulty.

  • GOSH, I love FB! is a personalized 2 tier, 6 X 6matrix grid puzzle. The student and their friends are the stars of this fun personalized puzzle which requires convergent and divergent thinking as they use the clues to find out which of their friends received how many of which football themed candy heart. This requires a great deal of critical thinking and revisiting the clues. This is a VERY challenging puzzle and not recommended for beginners.

  • Teaching Tips and Complete Answer Key also included!

Your students will find Prickly Pear Puzzles to be fun, yet challenging, this according to my freshmen class! The challenges are designed for the 6-9 grades, but it is always tricky assigning a level to a logic puzzle as it depends on the individual student's previous experiences and critical thinking skills.

Answer keys included and given in grid form easy checking! The three matrix grid puzzles have an answer key with the answers numbered according to which clue they came from.
