Fluency Timings for Kids with Autism

Learning to label words, numbers, letters, pictures, shapes, and colors are very important skills. However, being able to do this quickly and accurately is what makes these skills functional.

This packet is meant to help students with Autism label a variety of items quickly and accurately through daily practice in a structured activity.

This packet is comprised of directions, 17 different timing sheets addressing a variety of curricular areas (listed below), and 2 types of data sheets (1 for teachers to fill out/ 1 for kids to self record their progress).

This activity is similar to flash cards, but better as students are able to work more effectively on speed. You also don't have nearly as many pieces laying around and it is easier to make multiple copies of a single sheet than a whole deck of cards. Students also get to cover each item more than one time during each timing.
