Flipchart - Math, Social Studies, ELA Project

Students will love this fantastic project that requires them to research the Space Race between the United States and the USSR. They will apply their research by creating a timeline, a persuasive essay and a polygon rocket. This project can easily be adapted to an independent project, a partner assignment or a small group project. Students will be racing to find out new information about the milestones that occurred during the infamous Space Race, they will be competing to create the most impressive rocket, persuading others to agree with their opinion on who actually won the race, and learning the entire time!
