Flat Stanley: Traveling with His Flat Friends

This pack has great resources to use with Flat Stanley books as well as all the tools you will need for mailing Flat Stanley and Flat First Graders! My kiddos LOVED taking Flat Stanley home and mailing out their flat friends!

This is a great activity for the long winter months, but can be done any time throughout the school year! :)

In this pack are several graphic organizers that can be used with any of the books, a word search, 6 writing prompts with 2 activities, our flat friend project, and resources for a Flat Stanley weekend project!

Pages 36-40: Flat Stanley Weekend Project- all students got to take Stanley home for a weekend- includes letter, journal page, chart to keep track of who has taken Stanley home, another flat boy template

I think this pack contains everything you need to carry out a Flat Friend project and a Flat Stanley weekend project! I created these materials based on the books. I did this with my first graders and it was great. I think it could easily be adapted for other grades, but keep in mind I have only done this with first grade! :)

I have several pages explaining what you need to do in here and I have also included parent letters and a letter to send with your students' flat friend.
