What educators are saying

INCREDIBLE. I got the audio book and used it together with this booklet for my indigenous literature and writing class. Students were engaged, enraged and touched by the content. This was by far the best resource I have ever purchased and I purchase a lot of things on TPT. Used on grade 11 class.

This unit supports Reconciliation by educating youth on topics and issues Indigenous people have or continue to face in Canada. This unit can extend beyond 18 weeks or be completed in as little as 9 weeks, depending on how you approach the delivery of the lessons. The entire unit is editable to cater to your needs and focus.

There are two sections to this unit. There are videos and articles that support most chapter topics AND there is a student response booklet utilizing reading comprehension strategies to build connections and a deeper understanding of the novel.

This unit was also designed to easily facilitate a cumulative inquiry project based on responses and questions developed throughout the unit.
