Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser. They are a wonderful resource for in-person AND distant learning.

Videos included are-

Lucky Charms Place Value (to tens place) - There are 10 marshmallows in each bowl and a spoon with ones. Can your kids write how many marshmallows in all before the bowl and spoon count it out for us? Click here to see a preview of this video.

Leprechaun Tricks - Color Words - The tricky leprechaun switched all crayon wrappers and now they all say the wrong color words! Can your kids fix them? Great practice spelling colors for a fun purpose. Click here to see a preview of this video!

⭐ Wee Little Dice Game (3 Dice) - We see three dice rolled. Can your kids write the total number of dots? This fun game is a great way of building number sense, subitizing, and adding. Click here to see a preview of this video.

Horseshoe Prepositions - "Is the leprechaun under the horeshoe? Write yes or no." I LOVE these preposition videos for ELL students. Click to see a preview!

Addition Dominoes - We see dominoes and must write the fact that matches the dots on the domino. The domino flips and we write the related fact. This video includes facts to 18. Click here to see a preview of this video.

Gold Fever (Comparing Two-Digit Numbers) - Leprechauns are greedy and want the most gold they ca get! We see two pots of gold with different numbers on them. Can your kids compare the numbers using less than, greater than, and equal to signs before we see the answers? Click to see a preview of this cute video!

Harp Shapes - We see a harp and hear the lovely sounds it makes as it is strummed, but we only see it quickly. Can your kids remember what shape the harp was and write the name before the answer is revealed? Click here to see a preview of this video!

Punctuation Swap - Those naughty leprechauns switched the punctuation at the end of sentences and now they are all wrong! Can your kids write the sentences correctly? Click here to see a preview of this video!

Synonym Hunt - The leprechaun is looking for the two words that have the same meaning. Can your kids read the words and write the two words that have the same meaning before the leprechaun shows us the answer? Click here to see a preview of this video!

Segmenting Words - "How many sounds do you hear in...?" We hear lots of St. Patricks Day words and break them down into phonemes. Clovers pop up and say all the sounds as kids check their answers. Click here to see a preview!

Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits, recording the results of comparisons with the symbols >, =, and <.
Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. If 8 + 3 = 11 is known, then 3 + 8 = 11 is also known. (Commutative property of addition.) To add 2 + 6 + 4, the second two numbers can be added to make a ten, so 2 + 6 + 4 = 2 + 10 = 12. (Associative property of addition.)
Relate counting to addition and subtraction (e.g., by counting on 2 to add 2).
Distinguish between defining attributes (e.g., triangles are closed and three-sided) versus non-defining attributes (e.g., color, orientation, overall size); build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes.
