What educators are saying

My students beg for more of these 7 minute videos! I love them especially when I have a substitute but also when I need a breather :)
Totally engaging for students. It allows me to walk around my room and have just in time corrective conversations with my students who need it. It keeps all of the others students on track and engaged.

Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser. They are a wonderful resource for in-person AND distant learning.

Videos included are-

Busy Bee Letter Formation - Can your kids watch the bees fly and write the letter they are making? Click here to see a preview of this video!

Catching Phonemes - We see a variety of insects and write the number of phonemes in their names. Click here to see an example of this video!

Spring Sentences - Your kids will hear three sentences dictated and write them on their boards. Each sentence is repeated three times. After writing, they will check their sentences for capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and neat writing. Click here to see a preview of this video. All video previews skip student work time.

Pickin' Numbers - We see three flowers with numbers on them and hear the directions "Write the number that is greater than____, but less than _____." Can your kids write the correct number before the correct flower is picked? Click here to see a preview of this video!

Flower Syllables - Can your kids split flower names into syllables? They will copy the names of several flowers and circle the syllables in each word. This video is fun because it shows photographs of real flowers. Click here to see a preview of this video!

Hot Air Balloon 3D Shapes - Watch for hot air balloons and remember what shape they are! Your kids will practice drawing solid figures with this fun video. Click here to see a quick preview!

Snail Prepositions - "Is the snail behind the watering can? Write yes or no!" I love these videos for ELL students. They are awesome for building vocabulary. Click here to see a preview!

SpringTIME (to the half hour) - We see a flower with an analog clock in the center. Can your kids write the time before we see the answer? I love this video because there are 12 petals on the flower and when we check out answers, the minutes appear on each petal. Click here to see a quick preview of this video.

Scrambled Sentences - We see and hear words pop up. Can your kids put them order to create a sentence? Click here to see a preview of this video.

Comparing Two-Digit Numbers - We see two worms crawl in and they have numbers on them. "The bird is so hungry! Which worm should he eat? Compare the numbers using greater than, less than, or equal to signs." I love this video because it reinforces the sign by showing it as an open beak. It is a great alternative to the traditional aligator mouth. Click here to see it!

R-Controlled Garden - Can your kids write the missing r-controlled vowels before the seeds sprout into letters? Click here to see a quick preview of this video.

Busy Counting Back - This video is great because it relates counting to subtraction while reinforcing the subtraction strategy counting back. We see just a few bees buzzing around and hear the total number of bees. Can your kids count back to figure out how many bees are inside the hive? Click here to see a preview of this video.
