I am beyond THRILLED today to share with you a brand new First Grade Math Curriculum that is designed to make math FUN, hands-on and engaging for First Grade students! If you are looking to get away from the boring box curriculum or even just supplement your current math curriculum, THIS is the Kindergarten Math curriculum for you! You can use the units as a whole math curriculum or as a supplement to any classroom or homeschool math instruction. They can be seamlessly implemented into any math curriculum!

How are the Units Covered?

Each unit will offer two components to help make the math units

meaningful and engaging for whole group, small group or individual lessons. The First Grade Math Units can be a supplemental resource for current math curriculum, or it can be used as a whole math curriculum. The curriculum is designed to give the teacher flexibility and freedom to rearrange the units to fit the needs of his/her students. Since there are so many practice pages and centers in each unit, the teacher can use many of the pages as a spiral review as the year progresses.

***NO PREP Practice Pages- We all know that kids needs lots of practice to master math concepts and make them concrete. Each First Grade Math Unit will have a variety of fun NO PREP practice/worksheet pages for students to practice, practice, practice! *Center Number 1: Skip Counting Busses Skip count by 2’s and fill in the missing numbers on the busses. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 2: Mystery Numbers (Skip Count by 5's) Flip a card. Find the space on the board and fill in the number. Continue to fill the board until you find the mystery number.

*Center Number 3:Mystery Numbers: Skip Count by 2’s Flip a card. Find the space on the board and fill in the number. Continue to fill the board until you find the mystery number.

*Center Number 4: Mystery Numbers: Skip Count by 2’s Flip a card. Find the space on the board and fill in the number. Continue to fill the board until you find the mystery number.

*Center Number 5: 120 Puzzle Pieces Use a 120 board to help you fill in the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 6: Number Puzzles Up to 120 Fit the puzzle pieces together to complete the 120 board.

*Center Number 7: Write On and Wipe Off Up to 100 -Use a dry-erase marker to fill in the board.Once the board is filled, count the numbers as you wipe them off.

*Center Number 8: Write On and Wipe Off Up to 120- Use a dry-erase marker to fill in the board. Once the board is filled, count the numbers as you wipe them off.

*Center Number 9: Jersey Line-Up- Write the missing numbers on the jerseys. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 10: Before, Between and After- Complete the chart by writing the numbers that come before, between and after. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 11: Count and Clip: Fingers Flip a card. Count the fingers on the card. Clip a clothespin to the word number that matches.

*Center Number 12: Count and Clip: Dice - Flip a card. Count the dots on the dice. Clip a clothespin to the word number that matches.

*Center Number 13: Count On Cones- Count on from the number on the cone. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 14: Spin and Cover- Spin the spinner and cover the matching number.

*Center Number 15: Mystery Numbers: Emoji Math Write the correct number hidden on the Emoji Math card onto your recording sheet.

*Center Number 16: Mystery Numbers: Party Math- Write the correct number hidden on the Party Math card onto your recording sheet.

*Center Number 17:Ordinal Number Puzzles- Put the puzzles in order by ordinal numbers.

*Center Number 18: Ordinal Numbers Ice Cream Scoops- Stack the ice cream scoops starting with the first scoop. Record the ordinal numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 19: Ordinal Numbers: Emoji's- Flip a card. Find the matching emoji on the line. Decide what position the emoji is in on the line. Record your answer on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 20: Ordinal Numbers: Party Items- Flip a card. Find the matching party item on the line. Decide what position the item is in on the line. Record your answer on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 21: Big Pencil Number Order Set 1- Count by 1’s and write the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 22: Big Pencil Number Order Set 2- Count by 2’s and write the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 23: Big Pencil Number Order Set 3- Count by 3’s and write the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 24:Big Pencil Number Order Set 4- Count by 5’s and write the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 25: Big Pencil Number Order Set 5- Count by 10’s and write the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 26: Big Pencil Number Order Set 6- Count backward by 1’s and write the missing numbers. Record the numbers on the recording sheet.

*Center Number 27: Put the puzzles in order by number. Record the numbers on your recording sheet.

The grade level standards for each practice page and center are clearly indicated on the First Grade Math Standard Sheet. There is no guessing as to what standard is being covered. The best part about these units is that you KNOW for sure that ALL the standards are being covered.
