First Grade Literature Circles

Trying to meet with every child every day can be overwhelming and time consuming. Literature circles are a great way to help with this problem. Kids love the independence of working in small groups! And what teacher doesn’t love seeing students engage in thoughtful discussions about books? This literature circles pack was created with 1st graders in mind. It includes set up directions, differentiated printables for 12 different “roles,” and name tag printables to match the roles.
